We have updated Super Bowl odds! With only a couple games left, these are the best odds you’ll get on your team for the rest of the year. Once this week’s games are played, these odds will be gone forever.
If you’re looking for great online sports book to bet the playoffs, check out our #1 ranked sports book (LINK). We ranked this site as the best place to bet the Super Bowl for the last 2 years. You can’t go wrong with them.
Seattle Seahawks odds to win the Super Bowl are 9/5
This shouldn’t come as a surprise. The Seahawks have been favored to win the Super Bowl since week 15. They have a great offense and an even better defense. They’re also playing at home, and favored to win this week.
Denver Broncos odds to win the Super Bowl are 2/1
It’s interesting that the Broncos aren’t SB favorite here. They are favored win this week by 5.5 which is a bigger spread than the Seattle game. So according to Vegas, it’s more likely that they’ll get to the big game than the Seahawks. But Vegas still likes Seattle more… It’s an interesting line. If I wanted to bet the Broncos to win the Super Bowl, I would love these odds.
San Francisco 49ers odds to win the Super Bowl are 3/1
The 49ers were just here last year, but they lost in the big game. It tough to come back and make a run at the Super Bowl two years in a row, but San Fran is doing it. They’re underdogs this week, but not by much. They have a good team with a solid offense. They could go on to win it all, and if it’s not this year, it could be next year or the year after.
New England Patriots odds to win the Super Bowl are 5/1
It’s funny to think that the Pats are considered long shots to win the Super Bowl, but they are. Even with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick (who have both won 3 Super Bowls and play 5), Vegas still likes the other teams more. Don’t sleep on this line if you like the Pats, because their odds will jump with a win this week.
Betting on the NFL – A little strategy goes a long way
Betting on sports is as classic a gambit as you can get, and it’s been going on since the time of gladiators in ancient Rome. Betting on the NFL can be a fun way to pass time with fellow football fanatics, as well as a good way to get a little extra spending money if you’re lucky. However, there is one major factor that makes betting on the NFL (or any sport, really) different from a typical bet that you’d make on a casino game like roulette.
Unlike roulette, betting on the NFL (or any other sport) is not all about luck. Because of the fact that the players that are on each team have experience, have drive, and also have skill, people who closely follow football games are more likely to win bets that they make on each football game. There are different ways that you can bet on the NFL.
- The Ol’ Victory Bet – Who will win? Most football teams are pretty evenly matched, with bookers citing the most common odds being 11 to 10. If you have a gut feeling that one team will come out on top, a victory bet may be the best bet for you. This is a good beginner’s bet, especially if you know the statistics of football teams you’re betting on, or if you know that one player is notorious for being able to crush opponents in another team.
- The Point Spread Bet – If you want to risk a little bit more, then you may want to bet on how hard the losing team lost. Here, you need to bet on how much (at a minimum) one team beats another. You don’t necessarily have to bet on which team wins – just the amount that they win by. For example, if you bet that one team will win by a 9 point margin, and a team loses by 10, you still win. However, if you made that same bet and a team only won by a 3 point margin, you’d lose the bet.
- An Over/Under – This is when you bet on the total amount of points scored by both teams by the end of the game. A somewhat uncommon way of betting on the NFL, you have to choose a game total, and then bet that the real game total outcome will be over or under that amount. Knowing football statistics can come in handy here!
- Parlay Bets – If you want to make a series of bets, or a combination of two or more bets, then you are a parlay gambler. These kinds of bets can get very complex, or just be a series of bets that a certain team will keep winning. The payouts are typically very large, and increase the more complex the bet is.
The most interesting thing about betting on the NFL is that you don’t really need to know too much about football to enjoy it. As long as you look into the bets you make, you will likely win some money once in a while.
