Congrats to the Packers and all their fans. After all the bets were calculated in Vegas and all the numbers were reported, Vegas did make a small profit on the game. The consensus is that the public was on Green Bay, and most everyday bettors won! This is great news.
It was an okay game. Green Bay got an early lead and they held to though out the game. The Steelers tried coming back and got within 3 points of the Packers, but they could over come their early deficit. Without a lead change the entire game, it was a little slow. Green Bay led the whole way and won the game.
Some of the more heavily bet props cashed too. Aaron Rodgers was named MVP, Hinse Ward caught a touchdown pass, and Rodgers threw for a ton of yards.
For the first time in 12 years, tails won the coin toss! Overall, it was a good Super Bowl both for the NFL and for the bettors. We’d be lucky if every year was this good (as long as you bet on the Packers!)
Well now that the season is over, we might be taking a small break in posting. We’ll see how things go. Thanks again for reading!
