Welcome to the official Bet the NFL Super Bowl – Arizona Cardinals vs Pittsburgh Steelers blog! Yes, we change the name when we know which two teams will be playing in the Super Bowl.
So we trying to provide you with everything that you need to know for betting the Super Bowl. Later this week we’ll be coming out with our online sportsbook ranking, lists of prop bets offered at various online and Las Vegas Sports Book, and of course any and all news leading up to Super Bowl 43 2009Â in Tampa, Florida.
The current odds on this game is the Pittsburgh Steelers -7 or the Arizona Cardinals +7. The over/under is currently set at  47 points.
The player props are not up yet, but they should be soon. Some of the normal prop bets that will be offer will things like who wins the coin toss and which team scores first. Considering that the Steelers are favored, I think that they will be favored to score first.
We will also discuss in game betting, like that that is offered at the Bodog online sports book and casino. This type of betting enables you to place a bet after every play. This was become very popular in recent years, especially with the rise of the internet. Las Vegas casinos can’t offer you this type of wager as plays happen to quickly. But if you are at home or even at a party with a cell phone or PDA, you can watch the game and after every play if you wanted to, you could place a bet on the outcome of the Super Bowl with adjusted odds or even on the money line. It’s really a get option and it’s only available online.
Back to the big game. This year’s Super Bowl is being held at Raymond James Stadium, in beautiful Tampa, Florida. It’s the second time that this stadium has hosted the Super Bowl, so it must be a great venue. I don’t think the location will benefit one team more than the other. Arizona is used to playing in nicer weather, so this location doesn’t hurt them. Cold weather would benefit the Steelers (after all Kurt Warner showed this year that he can’t play in the snow), but warm weather won’t hurt the Steelers.
I think the Steelers might have a bigger fan base at the game because they are the more popular team. The Steelers fan base is the second largest in the league, just after the Cowboys. I don’t really think that the Cardinals have much of a fan base. Of course, most people who go to the Super Bowl get corporate tickets, so they might not be really tied to either team, unless they bet on the Super Bowl.
One of the most popular was to bet the Super Bowl, is to bet the over. This is a fun bet, because you don’t have to worry about either team covering and if it’s a blow out it doesn’t matter. The over bet is one of the most fun because all you have to do is root for the offense not matter who has the ball. The opposite is probably true for the under. With the under, you can rooting for the defense and against any big plays on offense or special teams. Who really wants to do that?
So as I mentioned before, we will help to teach you how to bet on the Super Bowl, but we won’t tell you how we are betting on the Super Bowl. We try not to tell people how to bet, or what team to bet on in the Super Bowl, because everyone has different opinions. We don’t want to cloud anyone judgement which they way they want their action to go.
Anyway, please continue to come to our site and check it out until the Super Bowl.
We are Bet the NFL Super Bowl, the best Super Bowl betting guide online. Thanks!Â
