These days around the MBL All-Star game are some of the slowest sports day’s of the year. Nothing to watch, nothing to bet, almost nothing to do…
Football news: The Vikings are talking to Brett Favre and the Packers don’t like it. Apparently, Green Bay thinks that Minny was “tampering” with their all-star, retired/unretired quarterback by trying to negotiate with his agent for Favre to go play with the Vikings. The Vikings are denying this, and now it’s back in Green Bay’s court to provide evidence. Anyway, these teams are hated rivals, so I really doubt that Favre would have gone to Minnesota, but you never know.
Politics? BJ Lawson is running for congress in North Carolina, and the only reason I care is because he is a big advocate for internet freedom (which is great for online gamblers). Over the last couple of days, more and more internet gambling sites have been picking up on him, so I felt like I should mention him here. Nothing too exciting tonight going on in the baseball world, and nothing much new in Super Bowl news either… The Cowboys want to win, blah, blah, blah… I’ll let know when something really happens.
So I’ll probably be back tomorrow. I’m still trying to get that quote off my homepage, so I’ll be writing.
