Brian Uslacher is still holding out, and the Chicago Bears don’t look likely budge… at least not yet. The 2 sides are talking over the contact problem, but Urlacher is under contract, and the Bears really don’t have to offer him anything more then they already are. Personally I hate player holdouts like this. I reminds of the whole T.O. drama years ago.
It sounds like the Dallas Cowboys are still interest in the Pacman and all this problems, but smartly aren’t willing to give up very much for the guy. On the other side of the coin, the Tennessee Titans have made it pretty well known that he is for sale, and at this point, they kind of have to move the guy. The Cowboys have upped their current bid to a fourth round draft pick, but the Titans are still asking for more for a guy that might not even be allowed to play in the NFL this year, and could very well be banded for life on any given night in Vegas…
Of course the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts are favored to win the next Super Bowl. I wrote the other day how someone has already picked Dallas to win the Big Game in 2009. Personally, I think it’s too early to bet the Super Bowl, but some gamblers do.
