It’s almost the Super Bowl… plan on betting it.

Beautiful Miami Florida, Dolphin Stadium, is the setting for Super Bowl XLI on Feb. 4, 2007. Two NFL teams will meet here of the biggest game on the year, the NFL Super Bowl.

Bookies, the Las Vegas sports books, and the online sports books are getting ready for the action. Why? Well, the Super Bowl is the most heavily bet game in America. The first weekend of March Madness is the second most bet time, but there are 32 games in that weekend. The Super Bowl is one game on one day.

Sports bettor’s from around the United States will be lining up at the Las Vegas Sports Books windows to place bets on which team they think will win (or cover the spread). But the bets don’t end there…

Being that this is the biggest game of the year, Sports Books (both in Vegas and online) are offering thousands of different bets. A standard super bowl bet is to bet on which team will cover or the over/under number of total points both teams will score. No so standard super bowl bets range from who will win the coin toss to who’s 2nd string running back will get more yards. Basically, with the Super Bowl, you can bet on almost anything that will happen in the game. And it doesn’t stop there…

Last year, some online sports books where even taking bets on the Super Bowl commercials. No only bets on which one will win USA today’s “best commercial” vote, but I remember one Super Bowl Bet, where you can bet on if the Burger King guy will score a touchdown during the Super Bowl. Well, someone must have known something on this, because the line took a huge jump one day, and no the king didn’t score during the Super Bowl (even though he did though out the playoffs).

Main people turn to local bookies to bet on the Super Bowl as well as regular season football games and the playoffs, But very few bookies offer exotic bets like those on the commercials. I would even be surprised to hear of a bookie offering a bet on the coin toss. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure a lot of American bookies clean up Super Bowl weekend, but they just don’t offer the amount of action that Las Vegas or Online Sports Books do mostly because of the level of clients.

A lot (and I mean A LOT) of Americans place bets online though sports books like BoDog or Nine. The government just ruled against the legality of these books, but since it doesn’t go after individual bettors, people continue to bet with them. In fact world wide, there are many places to gamble online, but because there are so many, some are scams. We recommend a few here that are completely legit and are the best in the business under the tab sportsbooks and poker at the top of the page.

Good luck in your NFL playoff and Super Bowl Betting.

It is the most popular time to bet on college football. In fact, this is the only time that a lot of NFL bettors bet the NCAA. These games are the biggest college games of the year with the BCS championship being US college sports equivilant of the NFL’s Super Bowl.

Putting a bet on college sports can be fun. There is tradition with rivalries and alma maters. One of my best friends graduated from Miami, and he bets almost every Hurricanes game. (He got killed this year of course.)

The Super Bowl is of course the most bet and the most watched game of the year. But for big football fans, these games come a close second. In fact, these games are the most bet football games aside from the Super Bowl. It is crazy that so much money is wagered on non-professional sports, but hey, it’s fun to gamble!

If your interested in placing a Super Bowl Bet or a bet on any of the above bowls, check out the sites in the Sportsbooks and Poker Section (tab at the top of the page) for the best bookies online. Before you do, gambling online may be restricted in the area that you live. Just because online sports books will take your bet, doesn’t mean that you local governmnet condones people gambling online (enough though it’s probably safer than going to a local bookie).

Anyway, remember that the Super Bowl in on Febuary 4th this year and it can be watched world wide. You can place future bets now on who is going to be playing the game and who will win. Some of the current odds are great for long shots, but you might be throwing your money away.

Closer to game time you can make a varity of Super Bowl Bets. You can bet the Super Bowl coin toss or bet on Super Bowl commercials. There are tons of bets you can place of super bowl players and events. Anyway visit us often in the up coming weeks closer to the Super Bowl as we will be telling you the best places to bet on the Super Bowl with the best bonuses. We will alos be giving advice on the the Super Bowl Bets offered online and in Las Vegas.

Good Luck this Bowl season, and have a Happy Holidays from 2007: Bet the NFL Super Bowl XLI Miami

online sports betting

Sports betting has always been a popular pursuit and today it has become a way of life for millions of people throughout the world. Well, there’s a contributing factor in today’s modern explosion of sports betting, and that can be attributed to the advent of the internet, which eventually brought up a number of possibilities for betting on sports online.

Betting on sports online is favored by most sports-minded people for the fact that it has a lot to offer than the Las Vegas sports books or the local bookies. With a number of online sports betting sites out there on the virtual world, sports betting for the average bettor is no doubt easy and accessible to wager even at the comfort and privacy of their homes. And, although most of the sports books that offer betting on sports online are based outside the United States, they after all succeeded in offering you the ultimate in convenience and variety.

Also, sports betting gives you the opportunity to experience the ultimate online gambling action right into the comfort of your own room, 24 hours a day, and 365 days a year. Unlike the old fashioned local bookies that just offer you the ability to be on the major sporting events, the gamblers of today, with the advent of betting on sports online, is not at that confined. They can now consider betting on sports online on just about any sporting event available out there. Much to that, betting on sports online doesn’t have to be betting on sporting events for the fact that everyone has the chance to bet on just about anything and everything, from the American Idol to the Olympics.

However, just like betting on your local bookies or in Las Vegas sports books, every bettor needs to have better understanding of online sports betting for him or her to generate profits. As what most experts say, knowledge of the sports you are about to bet on, a strong money management skill, and discipline are the major keys to your success on betting on sports online. So before you place your wagers on, it is best to make sure first that you’ve got all those winning weapons on you.

When betting on sports online, it is also best to keep an eye out for whatever personnel adjustments, coaching changes, suspensions, injuries, weather conditions, line moves, and even the returning starters that may occur. Noting all these factors may help you decide what to bet and how much.

Do not play the whole board. ThatÂ’s one main thing to consider when betting on sports online. As you may know, some of the sports bettors love the action, but this is actually a quick road to the poorhouse. The reason is fairly simple: the odds and vigor will eat you alive.

Another piece of advice is not to be afraid to bet on the crappy teams. Actually, that is where you’ll find the best value, especially when you’re battling a point spread. It is just somehow important to beware that betting spreads that look too good to be true usually are. So, it is better to go against these and reap the benefits that it can give you over the long term.

Globe of Blogs and others

Just wanted to start a quick referance of sites where blogs can add their links for free.

The first one that I’m adding this link to is Globe of Blogs. With a google page rank of 7, it seems like this site is a great place to start. I also noticed that MSN picks up all of the sites links very quickly. No reciprocal link required.

Another site that I would recommend is GeoURL.org. This site ranked a 7 as well, with a quick addition into MSN. No link back required.

BlobBiB – Link With Us - Web Directory – PR of 5, but many of it’s subpages are linked to directly from the homepage so they also carry a good PR. These links can be found in MSN as well. They require a reciprocal link.

Fantasy Football – 1st round picks

It’s a little early, but I just signed up for my fantasy league today. Our draft is about a month away, but it’s never too early to start thinking about fantasy draft picks. Anyway, it’s key to take a running back in the first round. All that stuff about taking a Peyton Manning or Steve Smith in the late first round is bull shit. In fact, I always draft running backs with my first two picks, and I’ve finished in the money for the last 3 years. Trust me, draft a running back in the first round.

That said, as of today, here are my first round picks. They could easily change over the next month or so based on injuries or news, but this is how they stack up today.

1. Larry Johnson KC

2. LaDainian Tomlinson SD

3. Shaun Alexander SEA

4. Clinton Portis WAS

5. Tiki Barber NYG

6. Edgerrin James ARI

7. LaMont Jordan OAK

8. Rudi Johnson CIN

9. Steven Jackson STL

10. Ronnie Brown MIA

11. Carnell Williams TB

12. Willis McGahee BUF
